Imagine not being able to recognize someone’s face.
Is it your friend, lover, or a complete stranger? Do you say hi and risk social awkwardness or do you stay quiet and risk being seen as sullen or angry?
Having blurry vision, out-of-date glasses, or a vision impairment is socially isolating.
Sadly, many people don't want to admit they can't see. This leads to anxiety, depression, and feeling alone.
Our Vision Rehabilitation program is here to help you see and be seen.
Vision rehabilitation services are a task-specific, goal-oriented consultation where we focus on hobbies and activities you used to enjoy, but struggle with due to the loss of your vision.
These services are sometimes recommended after a traditional eye exam when your glasses alone aren’t enough to give you the vision you require.
